Williams Bros. send us another stonkingly good beer; this time a stout with a few festive secrets.

They say:

This creamy dark stout, deep chocolate in colour has a nose of roast malts, coffee, licourice & orange peel. The aromas carry on into the flavour with a smooth mouthfeel, rich malty start, fresh hoppy middle & a delicious lingering orange after taste. Sure to get you marching again on those cold winter evenings.

We say:

Oh-so-creamy with a lovely dry finish and pure Christmas on the nose. The tiny spice kick resulting from the combination of the malt and the orange is just enough to warm without being weird. Seriously, one of our favourite stouts EVER. Did they call it March of the Penguins because all your friends will huddle around you just to catch a whiff? Good on its own, or if you’re up for a feast of double-richness try with our seasonal ox cheek, available through the winter.
